The 4th Living with Lupus Support Group scheduled for this Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Community Foundation Campus has been cancelled. The original speaker is no longer available, and we were unable to find a timely replacement. I enjoyed these Saturday morning gatherings and hope they were good for those of you who participated.  Community is so important for us. The opportunities to learn, to share, to laugh, to cry, to create, to be together, to celebrate life make it all worthwhile. I will be planning next year’s quarterly schedule soon, so if you have a topic you want to explore or know a speaker, or an activity we all might enjoy (i.e. coloring, outing at another venue), please let me know.

The Coffee Talk scheduled for Wednesday, December 6th, at 5:30 pm at the Community Foundation Campus, is a themed event, following in the footsteps of last year’s Celebration of Gratitude. You don’t want to miss this one! More details to follow.

Finally, we’re looking for a few good people to help us make these events meaningful, memorable, challenging and more inclusive of our lupus population. If you have a bit of time and an idea or two, please give me a call at 303-594-3432. I’d love to have you join up!  Thanks Everyone! Enjoy a peaceful, healthy Thanksgiving and know the Lupus Foundation of Southern Arizona is here to help.

Peace to all, Sharon
