Thinking about Making a Donation?

Currently there are several thousand people in the southern Arizona community who are managing their health and well-being with lupus. Our commitment is to support them through the Foundation’s resources, which in turn are made possible by funding from the community. No matter how large or small, your contribution will directly impact individuals with lupus as well as create a ripple effect to their families and the overall community. The Lupus Foundation of Southern Arizona is a 501c(3) non-profit entity, and donations are 100% tax deductible.

All monies donated to the Foundation support our work right here in southern Arizona. Thank you in advance for your contribution!

Your Contribution Makes a Difference: Stories from the Community We Support

My husband was diagnosed with lupus and refused to talk about it. The Lupus Foundation sent me information about males and Lupus and one of the male support leaders made a personal call to my husband to talk with him about coping with issues from a male perspective. My husband really benefited by this contact and has even offered to help me when I volunteer for the Foundation.

I was recently diagnosed and my doctor briefly explained lupus to me. I felt uncomfortable telling him that I needed more information so I contacted the Lupus Foundation, they must have spent a half hour on the phone answering my questions in terms I could understand. Later that same week, I received information along with a complimentary copy of their Newsletter. I recommend calling the Lupus Foundation whenever you have questions about Lupus.

My mother has lupus and only speaks Spanish. When I called the Lupus office I was given the name of a volunteer who also spoke Spanish. She and my mother talked on the phone for a long time. Afterwards my mother told me she would be receiving lupus information in Spanish in the mail that answered many more of her questions. I am very thankful that I was able to get help for my mother.
