LFSA’s 2nd Annual Gala was a huge success in honoring the LFSA Founders, who started the Tucson Foundation in 1983. LFSA’s first couple’s retreat was held in July 2016 at the Westward Look Resort in Tucson, Arizona. There were 14 participants in attendance. Each of the couples included someone with Lupus. The weekend included Reiki therapy with Marsha Drozdoff, mediation and communication circle with Amanda Freed, a sangria challenge, vision boards, and rest and relaxation.
Thank you to all of the sponsors and golfers who participated in the 2016 Hit the Links for Lupus at Omni Tucson National. It was a fun day of golf and a great fundraiser that will help LFSA continue its mission of providing support, education, and partnership to those affected by Lupus.
